A friend of mine has recently redone his 1968 roadrunner. The car has OE 11" drums all around, and originally had manual brakes. He added a new master cylinder/booster setup. After the brakes have been well bled, and adjusted, the car still does not stop well. The brakes are not mushy or soft, but it fells like the booster is not helping much. The difference at the pedal with the car running and not running is minimal. The engine was rebuilt with a mild cam. It seems to have adequate vacuum (i did not verify with a gage). I have added a few pictures of the setup. Do we have the wrong booster/z-bar? Any feedback is appreciated.
