If I could do this, anyone can. I was made apparent soon after I bought it that IF I could find a shop, they would kill me in labor alone!!! I simply took a 6 week welding coarse at my local night school and between that, and the internet research plus car shows and crawling under every b body I saw, it is possible. Biggest obstacle is time! Life and other things might slow you down, but a little at a time, it gets more and more achievable!! You can do it!!!
