It can be done, I'm toying with placing the 69 air intakes atop a 68 Satellite hood and make 'em bigger and taller by about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch; just enough to make 'em look stock, but still draw the eye to them like a WTF is that when people look at it.
I agree, very different cars. I don't even know if the hoods are the same size, but they certainly have a shape that is unique accross the top of the grille.
I don't think this would work at all.
:edgy: The only thing that would be close to the same is the contour line along the back of the hood to the cowl, as the same cowl vent panel was used from 66-70. If you wanted to keep the 69 fenders, grille, etc... then the only other way would be to skin the 70 hood and put it on a 69 frame / along with a few alterations. Similar the this 70 Road Runner skin on a 70 Charger frame. :grin:
