Ok guys new to site but not Mopars by any means..I bought me a 69 GTX and in the market for some headers and I'm interested in suggestions. Have any of you tried the Summit brand metallic ceramic coated ones price isn't bad. I have some doug's on my Dart and they fit well for a small block and above steering linkage. I know tti is good but don't wanna break the bank. Also I don't want the last bolt on the passenger side to be a pain I remember I had some Hooker Super Comps and I couldn't even get to it. Thanks

I have Hooker Super Comps on my 360 powered Dodge A100 - there are two bolts that are a real bee-atch to get at. I would always go with TTI in future if only for that reason.
Guaranteed fit, and guaranteed smiles.

Oh, and BTW....welcome to FBBO

The Super Comps I had on my 71 340 fit very well and lasted for over 15 years. As for getting to the bolts, it's a small price to pay imo. There's always a way to get to something......

I have 2 1969 Roadrunners, and on the low deck motor (451) I bought Jegs/Patriot ceramic coated headers which work well. They carry the Jegs name, but Patriot makes them. I think they are 1 7/8 pipe. I also left the front and rear studs in the cyl heads. This holds the gasket in place and holds the headers in the correct position so it's easy to start the other 4 header bolts. Yes access to the rear stud can be tight. On the 440 Roadrunner, It came with Hooker Super comps, which seem to work well.

Definitely need to use a header bolt on that one. Have them on the truck.

Agreed, but I'm no Gynecologist, so it gets difficult when you have fingers like pork chops. :D
