Doug's vs TTI headers

My current Hooker Super Comps are looking pretty shabby and need replaced. Looking for input from those who have Doug's on their B bodies (mines a 69 Charger). The Hookers fit really well except for 2 things, they hang too low and it would be nice if the exit was actually aimed at the cross member hump. I know from reading on here that the TTI's are above and beyond for fitment BUT when I'm looking at a grand... stainless starts to look very appealing. So my question is, how far down do the stainless Doug's hang and are there any other issues?

A 3rd possible option is Summits self branded ceramic coated headers, my experience with their self branded parts is that they're typically made by a top brand company and they look a lot like Hookers for half the price of TTI's.

I had the same conundrum of price vs. features, and after blowing through several sets of cheaper headers I was ready for TTIs, but the price! I bought the Dougs. They hang high and don't scrape anything, ever! I love the look, love the scavenging, love the fit (easy installation, no burned plug wires), and especially love that I won't be replacing them anytime soon, if ever! P.S. Yes, get them ceramic coated.
