wow you guys are so lucky you would pay about 20k up for that here in aus

Titles are not a hassle to get, you have the Sheriff come down to vin it (make sure that the bank don't own it or stolen) than bring what the sheriff gives you to DMV, than the DMV sends information to last leagal owner, than it comes sertified to your address, but don't open it, bring it straight to DMV, DMV will deturmin if the owner releast interest than you get a title in 3 to 5 years, if it's just a lost title, buy it than drag that guy down and have him changee the title with you, but don't buy it if it is still bank owned, have the sheriff look at the vin numbers to see who the owner is first than consider buying it

As far as a price for a 1969 Charger pictured, probable 7 to 8 thousand, and probable that much to look good and drivable

So I see varying opinions from $5k to $12k.. Ha... Pretty wide range guys. It's an Earl Sheib type paint job but shiney. There is some bondo skimmed here and there. A few dings and scratches here and there. Trunk pan has been patched but solid and painted black now. New trunk mat. Rockers are solid, bottom of door lips solid, bottom side is rust free except for some surface rust on the replacement floor pan. The car runs very well, starts up the first time, drives and stops. But it's a project. Interior pieces need installed for headliner and one of the doors. All of the door and trunk rubbers need installed. No exhaust. Center console is there but cracked on one place. I have two complete grilles with the hideaway lights. I will sell one of them. All door stainless needs installed. It needs a set of buckets. I believe you could put it together in 2 weekemds and be crusing but one may want to restore it. I have no intentions. I have receipts for the engine rebuild. It has 5 miles on it but was rebuilt on 2002. The transmission is super clean and also looks rebuilt. Heck, even the driveshaft looks new. All brakes have new cylinders, pads and hoses.
Tires suck. Mismatched and flat spots. I might look for a used set to throw on. I'm not going to keep this car. I'm going to sell it but not trying to retire off if it. Make a few bucks to put in my Superbee.

PS - I have the title and a binder full of receipts.

- $3500 worth of engine rebuild, carb, intake, headers, flex plates, dust covers, coils, all from 2001. Never driven except a few miles.
- $2100 worth of LEATHER work... SMH... yup... leather.

Alright that price window will probably narrow with so much more information. But imo, if it was me, I would consider 11 give or take some a fair price. A lot has been done already and looks to be a fairly easy project.
Is the sheet metal solid around the rear window?

Yup.. appears to be.

Cool then that would be a lot of work that wouldn't have to be done. Is it sitting in your driveway yet? :icon_thumleft:

So did you buy it yet Rusty? If so, you sure didn't let the proceeds from the sale of your Coronet set in one place to long. Looks like a very solid project.

Yep.. Sitting in the Garage, All cleaned up with some Magnum 500s on it.

Nice! That's gonna be a fun driver with not much work at all :icon_thumleft: is the grille assembly still out of the car or have you been able to test drive it yet?

Awesome and congratulations Rusty .. bet it looks better already with the Magnums and non-flat tires on it!

I ran it up and down my road a few times. Open headers though.. I have some mufflers that came with it though. I'm not keeping it guys..

It's just going to be a pass through..

@Speedfreak.. Yes I have 2 full grilles.. An R/T and a regular Charger Grille. The Non R/T grille is for sale inthe parts section.

With the new shoes on..
