its only catadioptric?

Thanks In advance

The '68 round sidemarkers had bulbs, as do the '70 sidemarkers. Pretty sure the '69 markers are lighted too? I could be wrong but it seems odd that they'd skip lighted sidemarkers for 1969, from a safety standpoint.

Didn't the Federal Law read something like - " visible side markers or reflectors"? Chrysler had spent a bunch on 5 or 6 different side marker bezels for 68, tried to save a buck in 69. All B bodies had reflectors in 69.

Learned something new today. I have some circle sidemarkers for a '68 and of course I own a '70, but think it's odd they skipped a year on the lighted markers.

A couple of years ago, YearOne used to sell a conversion kit to convert the 69 Charger side reflectors into lighting.

I have to say the move to lighted sidemarkers in 1970 was a less-than-optimal, almost dumb, design idea. Especially the fronts. To simply change a front sidemarker bulb, you had to unbolt the sidemarker assembly, unscrew the fragile plastic lens, and try to push-twist out the bulb from the recessed pigtail connector within the housing. More often than not, the old bulb fought you to stay inserted. Worse still, the pigtail was crimped inside the assembly. Then, you risked cracking the fragile mounting holes of the lens when you reinstalled it into the housing. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

All you should've needed to do is twist the pigtail connector out, pull it loose and swap the bulb, then twist-insert it back in. Nothing else would've needed to be disassembled and risk being cracked.
