I know this is going to start a shitstorm but can anybody post me a picture of what a 69 Charger SE RT air cleaner for a 440 4 Barrel should look like.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Usually an unsilenced air cleaner on a 440 R/T.

I was Told it should be a dual snorkel don't know if it should be black or orange

Beep beeprr that looks like a 68
Pulled that picture from the Nicks page.. Pretty sure it said 69 tnt 440. It may just be a Chrysler thing and not across the spectrum. Dodge,Plymouth and Chrysler.

"1968-69 440 T-N-T 4-Barrel and 383 HP for Chryslers. These are similar to others except have longer snorkels.
Photos below are from a survivor '68 Newport with 383 HP engine owned by Rich Rigby."

Lots of opinions. My opinion is this. The only way to know 100% what air cleaner your car came with is to have been there when it was built. I would say there is a very good chance that it came with the one in Demonic's post.

Late 69 and Cali got the dual snorkel rectangle port. Early 69 was the ubiquitous 11 inch unsilenced unit. Post #5 is a 67 that also made its way onto early 68 cars.

Okay let's go about this a different way does anyone have a air cleaner with the Chrysler part number 2863319

That part number is for the base plate of the non snorkle air cleaner that is shown above. The lid has a different part number, which is 2946172. It is probably the most common air cleaner for mopar muscle cars. There are also reproductions out there. Mancini has them.

I'll take the rest of the car too, please...
The car was built for California what difference does that make the problem is I got three different air cleaners with this car and I don't know which one's the right one for it everybody seems to have a different opinion

I've never seen a dual snorkel air cleaner on a '69 that had the vacuum doors on the inlets. The purpose of the doors is to grab warm air off of the exhaust manifolds via ducting to warm the carb up. On that car, what's the point of it since there is no ducting going to the manifold.

A dual snorkel air cleaner (like in that white C-body) would be used in 66-67 B-bodies, but not in a 1969 B-body.

There is an air cleaner reference page here, however, for some reason it's not working correctly right now.

https://www.nicksgarage.com/aircleaner.htm

While no pictures can be viewed right now, the text can still be read & there is nothing written that talks about a CA equipped air cleaner. That said, my money would be on the standard 68-69 HP round air cleaner with the pie tin.

It wouldn't hurt to shoot him an email. [email protected]
