69 Charger RT SE air cleaner

Nicks page is great, Richard. I threw that in because it looked so odd on a nicely finished Charger, but forgot to add any text to it. I'm not awake on Sunday's.
On a correct resto my guess would be the Dual snorkel for a Cali car. There is a B body resto guide that I had saved on my old laptop, I will see if I can find it. Here is more fuel for the fire.

On a related note, here's the oddball air cleaner that's on my 68 Charger (built in 11/67) with a/c....

Is that the same as the 426 wedge, but not chrome?

I'm not 100% sure, it looks like the 67 dual snorkel air cleaner without the snorkels. In talking with Nick, I found out that it's the same air cleaner that's on the 68 383 A-bodies. Nick said that because of the build date in combination with a/c, he believes that my air cleaner is correct.

I think they are both 17.5 inches. A beautiful air cleaner nonetheless.

Richard,

I don't think that's odd for a 68 A/C car. I know of another 68 A/C R/T with the same one. I agree with Nick, as I know the car's history.

I can check my '69 SE, but it's a 383 2 barrel.

I won't be out to the ranch until Friday.
