Hi, all
This is a question for a newbe hopefully soon to be charger owner.
I am looking at purchasing a 1969 charger rt. (See picture).
The car has been lowered. I will want to restore it to stock ride height. My questions are about what is involved.
In the rear it has lowering blocks. Approx 3" tall. Obviously those will have to be removed and new shorter u bolts.
Is the rear axle normally above the leaf springs or below?
Will I need new longer shocks?
In the front is it just a matter of adjusting the torsion bars?
Will I also need longer shocks in the front?
Sorry if these questions seem stupid, just want to know what I'm getting into before I buy it.
Thanks for your help!
