I'm looking at a 69 charger fender tag and this is the 2nd last line of codes...
T5- T5- C6T- T3 -910- 073008

my confusion is about how many codes, isn't there only supposed to only be 5 on 2nd last line? could this be a simple factory error? or maybe a phony tag... I have zero reason to believe there is anything fishy about it or the person . appreciate any input

Not being rude at all but and I appreciate the help but what are you suggesting ? You want me to post pic of tag?

No. The link I sent is a fender tag decoder. You can decode the whole thing yourself. Should answer your questions.

My post is about a potential typo on the tag, there's only 5 code slots on the decoder second last line , but the tag I have has 6 with 2 "t5"....
How common are typos on fendertags and do they bring trouble for value of the vehicle later?

heres the tag

Little late reply on this maybe but anyway.
The reason is that the decoder want a single input for paint code, you can repeat the paint code on the next line up, see below.

T5 A01 B51 ...
T5 C6T T3 910 ...
E63 D32 XP29 ...

Try the decoder on the link: http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=87

The St. Louis plant (G in the VIN) simply coded the upper and lower body paint on all cars.
That’s not a typo. That’s just how that plant coded things.

That’s a good suggestion but that layout would be for 1970, not 1969.

Very true, it's just to get the decoder to work , only move that second paint code to the next layer and continue to make it work.
