69 GTX info

Does anyone know if 69X 22" radiator had a fan shroud non air car. Are did all GTX come with shroud thanks in advance. KB9GIB

According to the '69 FSM, all 440's and 426's came with fan shrouds.

Our 68 w/ 22" has a shroud.

As I recall the shroud was part of one of the HD cooling packages. Both for air, HD perf or others, both on the 22" & 26" radiators.

The '69 service manual says that A/C & "Max Cooling" cooling was "N/A" on the 426, but standard on the 440.

i have a brand new one for $75.00. wont fit my new aluminum radiator on 69 gtx. 814-774-2095 dave

Yes. Standard with the automatic and no A/C was the 2949 053 radiator and 2949 130 shroud. The same as my R/T.
