Below top support that looks like a C frame, although some cars have had overspray get on that area.

I see where that makes sense even with the old headlight buckets still in place you could still see body color.

I'm not familiar with 66-67 cars, but the 68-69 cars were just painted on the sides....and keep in mind that the factory did sloppy work and was not as neat as this is....

It was shot by a guy down in a pit spraying up at about a 45* angle, and like RC stated they weren't very worried about the quality of the job.
