The guy needs to learn to hold the cell phone horizontally when taking pictures instead of vertically.
Plenty of red flags. The fact it's still available? Something is up? But if it's just because it's Non numbers matching? Still a decent buy. If I was close? I would have reconned and reported back by now?Jigsaw puzzle pictures always sets off a red flag for me.
Looks like a Coronet 440 ( hard to see from the side picture )which should have the trim but could be had without. The biggest motor you could get in one was a 383 2bbl or a 383 hp.
Only the Super Bee had the 440 or 426 options.
I see it has the turn signal indicators on the fenders which came with the optional light package.
Overall still a nice car for that price if it a solid running car even if not all original.
And if IIRC there are at least two 426hemi 440 coronet, special order, the guys here are free to correct me if am wrong one of them blue.
You're right. Cars like these can be even more enjoyable? Can be upgraded to higher performance? Drove and enjoyed to local stuff. Not devastating if dinged in an incident?looks like it was a build to suit his/her/their own taste
no harm no foul, for a decent price
they don't all need to be 100% OE restos
it isn't listed as such
looks pretty solid, pretty clean, from the stuff you can see
(& another crapy photographer, I can relate on many accounts)
That's what I can not remember from the pics I saw but maybe yes it was a 68I don't believe that applies to the 69 model year...
Thanks for the info.Weelwell trim was standard and could not be deleted as it was part of the side trim for this model.
The engine issue has been addressed in other posts.
L31 fender turn signals were a stand alone option. They were not part off the A01 light group.
The factory data books are posted in the Hamtramck Historical library and are a great reference as to what was standard and optional on cars. While there are changes during a model year, the data books and other documents posted in the library are a good place to start. https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library.shtml

Would the L31 option be on the fender tag ?
