69 Road Runner, lived a hard life, skinned for dead...

Yeah, but, its doable! The Pink 70 convertible Challenger I did 2 yrs ago was a complete rust bucket, I mean COMPLETE! But, its nearly done now, in final paint, and, the color is out of this world awesome! That's why they're called paintshop101.com I mean this car was a mess, and, its just dripping with what looks like wet paint now. This RR will follow suit. I should revisit my threads of these basket case cars, and populate with new photos of the same car(s) stood up as new pieces of art! Yeah, I think I will!

That would be worth seeing. Do it.

Actually was kinda funny...Delivery guy said uh-oh, then sorry, then sure smells good, then..can I try some?..lol Tiss the season her shortly Donny..I'll be hitting you up soon. Now to figure out how to keep the mooches from eating it all up on me. Stuff goes like hot cakes around here (especially camping). Lushes put it on everything. Probably cereal if they could.

LOL... Looks the floors on my old car. Nother bird being brought back to life

F me, I think that car might be in good shape compared to what I'm working with. And I didn't think I was doing too bad!!!!

Man, this thing is rough! I'm almost done with it, will finish it in the morning, then deliver in the afternoon. Will have pics tomorrow or Tuesday.

You do nice work Donny. Looks like the rear frame rails might be ok? Surprising for the rest of rot everywhere else. Is that soft braze that was used on one of the front rail patches?

Front frame rails are junk, both of them, rust holes, hillbilly welding, and 'strengthening' and of course, the aforementioned Brazing on the frame rails.

Brazing a frame rail patch.. :icon_scratch:

When I stripped the bonding off my Charger I found some moron used a '68 quarter patch (on a '69) soupcan-patched the marker hole and cut a lopsided incorrect new one, and brazed the quarter into place. So now I get to grind out all the braze and reweld it. Don't know what some of these people were thinking patching these cars
