Here is a picture of my 69 road runner and you will notice that the top wiring plug is missing. Can anyone tell me what this went to and is it needed? Also where can I get one if I need one.

Also I see that this car has a piviot ball on the frame? did all of them come like this?

thanks

Piviot ball is for the clutch pivot rod. I think the emty connector is a harness to the wiper motor. And the eyelet terminal on the short wire coming off the bulkhead is to the starter relay. Ron

The top bulkhead connector may still be attatched to the wiper motor if you had it. It looks like someone got crafty putting a 4 speed into an automatic car- 4 speed cars had a bracket welded to the frame there to hold that ballstud, someone bolted that plate to the inner fender instead of welding the bracket.

I believe beside the wiper wires that top connector also has the neutral safety/backup light wires.

Hey thanks for the info. The car had a motor plate in it and the k frame is modified for some kind of big oil pan. I put new carpet in the car today and it looks good.
