Thanks guys im really excited bout the new addition,it looks sick next to the 69 charger in the garage.Been debating bout the 6 pk hood. The air grabber assembly items are missing and by the research ive done its gunna be pricey to get it all.Ive always loved the 6pk hoods though. What would you guys do? Hold out n find all the air grabber stuff or run the 6pk hood?

I went with a 6pk on mine. love the look, and my original hood was in need of work, and the PO had put cheap Autozone hood pins(in the wrong spot of course).

I would put the 6pack on it. You can always get the xtras as time /cash allow.

If you would have asked me 2 years ago I would have said that's allot of money, "now" 2 years into my charger and 15K later all I can say is I envy you. Congrats on a sweat car, Enjoy

I agree i love that hood too,and that sucks about the hood pins i know the feeling lol, good back up plan though!

ok.well would it be weird not having the six pack carbs on it?
It might be weird, but if you want to build it all in one that is fine and your decision. I bought a 6 pk hood for mine and have it on my car without the carbs but that is the way I wanted to do my car. All I meant was if you can get the hood now, then later find the carbs and intake, you might be able to take a little time to get a good deal.

good point roadrunnerman, im going to do
just that. Thanks for the advise,do you have the bolt on or a-12 lift off hood?

I just have the bolt on hood, but the hood pin holes are located in the wrong place and the bodywork is starting to crack where they mounted it on a satellite hood. Will be fixing that when I get the chance.

aww crap that sucks least it keeps ya busy though judging by you're picture sure looks sharp!.The bolt on hood is the route i was going to take as well
