[69 air grabber bird]

I have a 69 roadrunner 383 4speed with roughly 100 miles on mcleod street strip clutch. We took trans out and motor for head work and cam. Motor sounds sweet by the way, but now when engaging clutch it has bad hissing sound like its not engaging correctly. Made which I thought was all necessary adjustments. What to do?

what do you mean by engaging clutch? Pushing pedal dow, or releasing pedal? Did you take the clutch assembly off when you pulled the motor? Or did you leave it all bolted to the flywheel?

When releasing the clutch to engage against the flywheel. And yes it was disassembled.
