I am selling a roadrunner that I have had for 38-39 years. The car belonged to a member of the California Street Racier Club and I got it from a family member when it came up for sale. It is green and had a 4 speed, now automatic. My wife did not like the 4-speed. It is a California built car. It had AC, not any more. Body is rusted in usual places for B-body and interior is rough, also had buckets and now bench which I like. No I don't have the bucket seats any more. It has been parked for 15 years and is non-opt with California title. I get a letter every year from DMV telling me it is still NON-OPT. All glass is good and original. Early last year I brought a 4 Post Lift and started to do some repairs. Had 10" brakes on front, now has 11" with new drums, wheel cylinder's, shoes, springs, hoses. Rebuilt the carb, pulled tank and cleaned, new sending unit, and new filler tube seal. Pulled front sway bar to replace the new rubber and grommets, not finished. It has a power steering, and a leak that I have not repaired yet, I think it is from top hose but I also have brought the bottom seal at pitman arm. One of the mufflers has a hole also and I plan on replacing both. Large tube headers. It is still on lift today and I'm tired and old. My daughter wants it cause it being in the family so long and remembers mom taking her to school in it. Her husband is in the Military and don't know anything about turning nuts and bolts and they have no place to store it so I'm willing to sell it. I know now I will never restore it cause I brought another one in 09 that is 90% done. I have no pictures as of yet to post and I am not sure what I should be asking for it or where to sell it. I have never listed it for sale. It does run and drives when put on LIFT, but will now have to be finished to do that. Some body let me know what you think or thinking of what I have for sale. I have tried to post pictures but at this time I'm have problems do that too. Thanks

Hi Budddyrex - welcome to the forum. Nice story about having the car so long. So it was only about five years old when you got it? Seems a shame to have to let it go, but if you have another one as well, good luck! People won't know how to advise you on what it's worth without those pictures, so start uploading. :)

Non-Op is a California DMV term for non operational. I believe a person has to contact the DMV and get it brought up to date to get license tabs etc. and operate it on the highway.

I tried to post pictures (24) last night and something went wrong. I also trying to read all the rules to this form and it keep telling me a I need to log in. Must have done that more than 10 times. I have contacted whom ever the questions go to. Hopefully I'll get a good answer today. I'm 61 and somewhat disabled, the weather is nice today and I'd rather be working on that CAR.

hmmmm...shouldn't of had 10" brakes on a road runner...that's odd.

When you decide on a price let us know. I know someone that is interested.

Neat car, Rallye Green, 383 4-speed, 3:55's Axle Package, Hemi Suspension, 26 inch rad, looks like N96 - Air Grabber Hood on the fender tag.

Tag says it was originally a bench seat car.

I am digging it. Thanks for posting up the pics. Looks like a great project for someone.

Dave

I think I'm going to set on $8000.00 The fuel tank is back in with all new parts. Starting on the back breaks.

I have posted it on Craig's List. About 30 days ago. Lot of calls but I've decided to wait to show. I'm looking forward to getting it down off the rack and drive it one more time when I'm finished. No one has been allowed to see the car other than the pictures. Hope to have the breaks done in a week or so and setting on ground. Feel free to contact me threw Craig's List. Just type in 1969 RoadRunner, should pop up with others
