Real nice job! Although I'm a sucker for black 69 roadrunners I see orange is the original color. How are you stripping the paint off, and are you spraying the primmer? Again nice work.

Very nice work - looks like you found a fairly solid car. I'm thinking your color combo will look great.

hey guys,i'm stripping the car by hand :), with a chisel ö, it have taken me 2-3months to strip it,and of course with a grinder and steel brush, i didn't choose for sandblasting, because here where i live it's all about money and they don't give a f*ck about the car,so..and the primer that you see the red,it's only for bare metal, now its very cold these days. so when jou strip something,in a few days you see that is already rusty :-s,its very good stuff,i don't spray it, i did it with a paint roller (brush),wenn it goes to the paintshop they will spray ontop of this primer an epoxy primer, and then finally the color :).so the next 25 years no more rust!:hello2:
and yeah thank god i found a good roadrunner, this car came from florida.

hello guys,
yust welded the connectors on the car, yeah and i have modefy them allot, tooks 1day for modefying, and 1day to weld them properly, but its done 1 step closer :) here are some pics

Looks good. Those subframe connectors will sure keep the car straight.

hey guys here are some more pictures,i'm ready with the body! so end of the month the roadrunner is going to the body shop for paint,i bought a 440,the underside of the car is finished.WP_000219.jpgWP_000221.jpgWP_000231.jpgWP_000250.jpgWP_000260.jpgWP_000264.jpgWP_000281.jpgWP_000282.jpgWP_000284.jpg

DAMN Kev! That's some great work.

I gripe if the battery tray is rusty! I can't imagine wanting any car enough to do that much work on. --- though I have done as much/more to cars, just not ONE car.

My hat's off to you. Fantastic job.

I got lucky tonight seeing this, Your working on my favorite car of all time and somehow i missed so much since the last time i was here.. Your doing a fantastic job! Im trying to get all my ducks in a row to start my new project but its going to take a lot of money to get me started as you must know, Looking and reading thru this you've givin me a big breath of inspiration!

That photo on the left side, is that from a previous repair?

This is a tremendous amount of man hours, but, when you're doing it yourself, it really is not a factor to consider! Impressive indeed!
