'69 Super Bee Tail Light Bezel

Does anyone have a fix for 1969 Super Bee/Coronet tail light bezel reattachment? It looks like there used to be there used to be some snap-in pegs on the backside (along with some locating pegs), but most are broken off now.

These were pressed/wedged onto the plastic lens. They are not broken. This is how they look when you forcibly remove them from the lens. I guarantee the lens was damaged when these were taken off.

Have you found a fix for this? I have a 69 bee and I have the same problem. I am getting ready to have these restored but I am Unser of how to reattach them.

No, I ended up getting a different set of tail lights and luckily those bezels had good attachment. But I’m still interested in an answer.

Ok. Dang it. Did you just purchase the entire set up with good metal bezels?

WHat screws onto the posts. Pal nuts? Self threading washers? Can you JB weld a sheet metal screw to the bezel?
