Hi all,

I have an issue on my survivor 'Bee I just picked up. My fuel gauge, oil gauge, tach/clock all do not work nor do any gauges light up. Currently, only the amps and speedo gauge work. It's funny because everything works on this c

1) Backlights on gauges do not work
2) Signals/Hazards work but lighted indicators on dash and fenders do not work.
3) E-Brake light and reverse lights on dash work

you probably dont have a good ground to the cluster or have a bad voltage limiter its located on the back of the gauge cluster and supplies the reference voltage to the gauges. your lights could be a ground issue also or a bunch of burnt out bulbs

Go with beekeeper & good luck, also dirty /loose connectors.

I would suggest getting a wiring diagram for your car and just start checking wires and bulbs.

I would love to see more pics of your car. Looks like an original car.

Yeah it's pretty original. Perfect floors but some rust under rear window, trunk edges and right rear quarter shows a repair from long ago. 87K original miles.

Mine has a little rust around the rear window as well and a little in the very back of the right rear quarter. Floors are nice, but a couple very small holes in the trunk floor from the rats and previous owner leaving stuff in there long term. The rats ate everything in mine. Your car is straighter than mine. I got it from the original owner's son (the white haired man in the picture). It sat in barn for 26 years. Mine has 25,000 original miles showing on it (22,000 when I got it) and according to the original owners son it is correct, he said she didn't drive it much and the mileage is correct. I didn't really believe it until I took the whole car apart and everything looked new and was original. Most items showed little or no wear. It was ordered by a female so she got several options on it. Wish she would have ordered a 4-speed though. Oh well.
