Every once in a while I find a great deal on some parts for this car and of course I buy them. These set me back 100 bucks for the pair! Gotta love that!
If I haven't said it before I'll say it now, I am really looking forward to restorinf this one!
If I'm not mistaken, I think it came off a `72 or later, but I am planning on scavenging some patch panels off of it for the rust repair on the A66. I would sell off the rest of what I don't use but that isn't going to happen until I know exactly what I do need from it.
Had a great time at the Mopar Nats last weekend and got some great deals on more parts for the A66. These cars weren't supposed to have wheel opening mouldings but mine did when I got it and I couldn't pass these up for the price. The air cleaner was a good deal and is in really nice shape and the oem quarter drilled off at the spot welds was also a no brainer for the money.
Thanks Donny. If you thought that was a good find, check these out. Rustfree and factory assembled quarters, doorjamb pillars, inner and outer wheelhouses and trunkfloor extensions. These will literally save me thousands in parts and MANY hours of labor on this resto! I wonder if I could restore the body on this one using nothing but oem and nos parts?
