Keep in mind; anyone who posts a reply to your ad about the price or a question about the car; are not to be taken seriously at all. AKA Tire Kickers. If they can't put the effort forth to send you a PM; don't waste your time on them I hope the car sells and its a great starting point for someone who has less than $10k to spend.
CASE AND POINT!!!! What does a CUDA HAVE TO DO WITH A MEMBER TRYING TO SELL HIS 70 CHARGER????? Its Absurd to even bring it up!!! AND ANYONE WHO THINKS YOU CAN HAVE A RESTORED 68-70 CHARGER FOR $10,000 or LESS; FORWARD ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND I'll CUT YOU A PERSONAL CHECK TOMORROW!!! I spent $7,000 on a used Jet-ski for the camp that I was only able to use a few times; I think the Member tracy is to blame for that and his Charger.... lol
Instead of trying to help the guy out; the Mopar websites have Turned into the Drama Factories with Stupid Comments and Digs about Cars that not only the Poster isn't going to Buy; but doesn't have a Job or the Funds to Buy it in the 1st Place... I grew up with 4 Sisters and had a bunch of Girlfriends who did Less Bitching then some of the Idiots that Post Garbage...
Leave the Guy Alone and be Thankfull that car hasn't gone overseas; like they have been doing!!!
You could list the car for free and they would still wine and say the transport costs were too high.. I had nearly $62K into my 4 speed R/T by the time is was finished; and I didn't go on the posts blasting guys with cars that were for sale for more money . Its changed for sure; and the picture collectors have found a perfect way to pass their free time.... Jealously has gotten in the way of helping members out. And if sheer stupidity was worth money; some of the guys would be multi-millionaires.. If your budget doesn't dictate the car your trying to buy; don't cry about what the asking price is!!! Common Sense...
The 68-70 Chargers are some of the most sought after cars there are......in any make. I have a 68 that I am storing for a friend.....and lemmie tell you, that car is a total basket case, but I know there are people who would restore it good as new. You name it, it needs it. But it still has a fender tag. Original 383 auto car. I know it could bring some seemingly stupid money because they ain't makin um anymore and didn't make a pile of um to begin with. Keep tryin, you'll find a buyer.
