I am not a Chevy guy, nor a truck guy, but for some strange reason, I liked this this....View attachment 345441 View attachment 345442 View attachment 345443 View attachment 345444

I think I know what that strange reason is.--at least for me--
Things like this draw me too at car shows and I ask myself--why--?

They are real--they are clean--they don't flex a bicep.--
What they speak is the passion someone has about the motoring history we grew up with.---The fun side of the hobby.---Maybe the primary reason we all are here in the first place.??

Wow i still think 70 Coronets are pretty ugly! Sorry. But some guys like sweaty fat women. Who am I to judge.
You just did.
As for me, I'll reserve my negative comments about cars for Fords and Chevies. I stand in solidarity with my fellow MOPAR owners.

A 70 coronet 4 door with skinny rear tires is pretty homely IMO.

Put 10" wide or larger tires on the back, sport hood (either one) and a monochrome paint job in HIP colors, and it's a totally different story. Seems to scream "jet fighter".

If it has a penta star I like it as long as it 1973 back

O K so i'm worped. the 61 valiant is cool! ha

the 70 coronet's grill AT NIGHT takes on the look of an angry monster! a snarl! ugly? maybe... cool? for sure!!!!! give me one with big honking pistol grip sticking out of the floor!!!! yes! B3 blue?

From what I saw on the "sold" stickers, there were a lot of cars that had sold in the high 28-38 range & many of them were pretty darned nice. You certainly couldn't build many of those cars for that kind of money.

Ill take my 70 Coronet R/T vert any day ....I wouldn't sell it for 1 million bucks

Love the grill, no matter what others think and say about it. Thanks for sharing your picture of this beautiful car.

I will say that the 70 Coronet is far better looking than the 61 Valiant.

We had a 60' an a 62' in my family years ago. I read somewhere that the styling came from the big cars of these years. I prefer the 62'. I have looked for one, but a good one shows up when I'm unable to buy. Rust was a factor in these cars not surviving.
