70 Front Frame rail question

Took my front number off that never really fit well so I can put the engine in from underneath. Found out why it doesn’t fit well.. The drivers side is pushed in in the backside and out in the front. It all seams to be in front of the k frame. Anyone just cut out this section and replace it? Don’t want to do the whole frame rail. It’s just a street strip car.

I think that rail is stronger then whats is out there now.

take it to a pro and let them put it back in specs
