70 GTX starting with out turn signal indicator

Can any body confirm I can start my 1970 GTX with the turn signal indicator switch un plugged. I need to move my car and the turn signal switch melted. So id like to rule out a couple of things and that is the first since she won't fire up since the melt down...Thanks

yes, you can move it, but if you are going to drive it on the street, you will not have any brake lights
