Ahhh I don’t really watch either of those shows. GYC guy is a real weirdo and *** monkey is full of himself....

I’ll probably do some vids when I get closer to having a primered roller.

That is because you have true passion and skills versus some douchebag trying to popularize themselves for nothing but $$$$ and fame....The latter are not car people...

Yeah, that’s a 4” exhaust downpipe. I dumped it out there to give me more room for the tire and the water tank which will be under there.
That's the one, didn't realize it was the exhaust. So I take it this thing is going to be very loud lol.

The turbos usually muffle the exhaust to tolerable levels.

We’ll see. I have a couple buds with turbo cars like this. Big inch twin combos seem to be more tolerable than small singles. My backup plan is to add mufflers under the fenders and route the exhaust over the tire and dump through the fender behind it. Or just drive with the windows up, AC on and turn the tunes up lol

You'll have to be careful you don't end up like a Explorer with CO2 poisoning.

This car will be tight. I’m sacrificing the added weight and added seam sealer, dynomat and full carpet. Nothing worse than a car that fills with smoke during the burnout. After all, it’s still a street car!

Haven`t commented on Hemirunner 's project since page 23 I think. A lot has happened in this span and I have enjoyed it and have learned much. Just don't feel that I can thank you enough. Wayne

Throttle body mockup....and now you can see why the nose is removable and the center area is open. This allows me to stand in between the intercoolers so I can reach everything in the engine bay without having to lean over the nose or fenders.

So... the wonderful thing about Engineering on the fly is that you get to re-engineer so many other things....lol. Adding the coils to the valve covers led to the need to move the master cylinder up 1.75” and moving the master cylinder up that far meant raising the brake lever pivot up as well so as not to bind the brake rod. Raising the pivot will also lead to extending the brake pedal 1.75” to get it back to where it was. The only plus is more leverage at the pedal..... (facepalm....)

That's why I try not to get anything to final till the end. There's always something that comes up you didn't see coming! Great work BTW.

Yeah I know.... lol. The plan is to finish the car before doing any final finishes. I already found some brackets that meed changed on the already powdercoated rear axle housing!

I think this thing is going to be too nice to race...
