What’s everyone using to attach the trim to the package tray on a 70? I have also saw that people put it in after the rear glass but I can’t because of the bar. Please forgive the dirt…back window has been out for awhile. lol

Mine was missing this part when I bought the car. Just like a regular staple gun?
That part is a very tough part to find and no one re-pops it, yes it staples on to the cardboard, there should be existing holes where it was stapled, unless it's NOS. you can use a staple gun to get the staple through then just bend the ends/legs over like a normal staple through paper. Once stapled the package tray and seal just butt up to the rear window. On the front side of the package tray where the back seat meets it, there are 2 small "L" brackets with Phillips head screws that secure the package tray down and also use a little spray glue on the flaps (on the package tray) that fill in the gap between the seat and the rear portion of the window area.

I didn't know that. I had to find one years ago and it was like finding hen's teeth! lol I also just read your guide you posted above, it would have saved me some typing...

Thanks for your detailed write up from years ago, I used it several times when I was restoring my Bee
