Looks like a star washer WAS there and made an imprint on the surface. I doubt Mopar would spend the money stamping the bracket as opposed to slapping a star washer on it as typically done on this type of application. Either way a star washer just makes sense and is a good was to maintain electrical contact and prevent Forrest fires lol. I think also about the paint on the wire AND on the radiator top hose....its not like Mopar was super interested in some of the details of what they were slapping together lol
