70 roadrunner triple black is it worth it??

Hi there. Did get much help on the other site. Thought id try here. I have a 70 roadrunner. 4 speed. factory black, black top (non vinyal) Black interior and black transverse stripes. So would that be triple or quad? LOL anyway. Is this really a pretty rare combo? Is it pretty desirable? Is there anyway to find out though someone or place just how rare it is if so? I just don't know if im going to tackle fixing it up or just sell the project. Maybe some members here can chine in or even PM me to talk about it? ron

Hi and welcome to the site ,there a lot of people that will chime in on this thread but if you have photos I would post them so they could give you what your asking for ,yes black on black is a nice color combo ,have you decoded your fender tag yet

hi there. Yes I have. Lots of tx9s on it. But black stripes on a black car? Is that crazy? heres a list of the numbers.. tx9 j25 m21 r11 v8x

Im starting to lean tword selling it. Its missing some items. Motor. have a trans but not numbers correct. carpet door panels headliner. have buckets. Hood needs some work. Its not really rusty like most. Just needs time invested... r

oh gosh. There no stripes on it right now. Its not even the original paint. Its been repainted black. And then half sanded down. I guess i'll have to get some pics. It needs a lot of work. Im just trying to get a feel of how rare or how desierable it might be. r

Concur with Photon that would be bad *** and black cars are very desirable and not everyone likes or prefers the black vinyl. Sounds like it will be a beautiful car. Post some present state pics

From your description, it sounds like it would be a worthwhile car to invest the time in for you or somebody else if you do sell it. Black cars are desirable to a lot of people. I don't think they produced a lot black cars for any year so the numbers might be low.
