71 440 + 6 Manifold

Hey everyone. I'm working on my 71 Bird, 440 6 Barrel project. Does anyone know if the 6 Barrel manifolds for 71 were cast or aluminum? Also were the carbs Carter's or Holley's?

I was told that the 1970 Superbird cars all received an aluminium intake manifold. The factory had some leftovers, so any six barrel cars being produced after the Superbirds were done had them fitted also, until the supply was exhausted. I know of a 1970 'Cuda that was factory fitted with such a manifold, and it was an early 1970 car (Jan-Feb 1970).
I doubt very much that a 1971 car was ever fitted with anything but a cast iron manifold.

Carb's are all Holley.
