'71, 440 Valve Cover Question

On a Stock 1971, 440 Valve Cover are there Four Triangle "retainers" or Six under the bolts ?

I believe zero. I think those are aftermarket

Acording to my book there were two types of retainers. One was used on the 1970 thru 1974 six cylinder. The other which is what you have was not used on the small block until 1976. hope this helps
