The vin is as follows WP29U1A178126 I HAVE COPY OF BROADCAST SHEET PREVIOUS OWNER HAD ORIGINAL BUT CANT FIND IT. HE IS STILL LOOKING THE BLOCK HAS THE VIN # CAST ON IT AS WELL AS TRANSMISSION, THE DANA REAR END HAS TO MUCH UNDERCOATING ON IT TO SEE ANY NUMBERS.
THE CAR IS LIGHT BRONZE METALLIC WITH BLACK INTERIOR AND A BLACK VINYL HALF TOP. I REALLY DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT MOPARS I REALLY COULD USE ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE.
W= Dodge B-body, P= Premium,29= 2 door sport hdtp, U= 440 HP single 4bbl, 1= 1971, A= Lynch Rd, MI plant and the last 6 digits are a sequence #. The Dana won't have the vin stamped on it, you will be looking for a date code on that and if it is close to the production date of the vehicle you can consider it original to the car.
Does it have a fender tag? it will be located on the top of the inner fender apron near the battery.
Sounds like a sweet ride, post up some pics.
