Trying to troubleshoot my brake light issue; NO BRAKE LIGHTS :)

Have checked all bulbs; okay. checked power to brake light switch; have.

checked fuses; all good, pulled and replaced even. Here's what I found...

power to brake light switch on pedal, switch works checked with multimeter, pulled left side kick panel to reveal wiring plug from dash to rear wiring harness. All wires are okay but I am getting no power to this point. All other lights work. turn signals, emergency flashers, running lamps etc. But no power to brake lamps.

Since no power when engaged to wiring harness to rear I am thinking problem lies in steering column...doesnt turn signal cam or something else inside column regulate power to brake lights? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Brake light circuit goes through the EM flasher switch. The EM switch transfers the brake lights from the brake circuit to the EM flasher circuit when ingauged.
Have had this problem on a few cars myself.

Most likely you have a bad turn signal switch. It's a common problem with older cars - not just MoPars.
