71 Road Runner Windshield Wiper Switch

Is the windshield Wiper switch and knob for the '71 Road Runner different from the switches on the 72-74?

Yes. Is 71 only on the switch. Two different knobs but either will work. Push on and one has a set screw.

I have 4 switches lying around and it's been a real bitch trying to figure out what is 'right' for a 71/72 B-body with a Rally dash and I hope, a variable speed wiper setup.

Also forgot to say that the 72/4 switches have a index notch as where the 71 does not. So the 71 switch will fit the 72/4 cluster frame but the 72/4 switch will not fit in the 71 cluster frame.

Thank you so much for the useful info. I have a 71 and a 72 switch and didn't know which one went with my 71 roadrunner that I'm rebuilding. This was one of my last two puzzles before completion. Highly appreciated.
