Ok, is there a place to get a parts list?

What items can I buy new, what Items must I salvage. I need to keep this reasonably priced as I have a very slim budget.

I did a search but Maybe didn't word it right.

Do a search on - disc conversion - a ton of stuff should come up.

you are on a budget so throw out the 4 wheel disc idea to start.
front discs will do you just fine.
i did mine with factory parts i pieced together
there are also alot of kits out there.
find out ahead of time what the consumables will cost to replace
and thier availability like rotors and such
it would suck to buy a kit you can't get parts for
or the parts will cost you a arm and leg to replace when they wear out.
thats why i stuck to the factory stuff myself.
it works just fine.
also before you start you need to know what size rim you are running
this is very important as
alot of kits or factory parts will only fit certian sized rims.
so you need to answer those questions first
before you start looking for/ buying parts.

here is a very good article to read before you start
all about a factory front disc brake conversion
and the parts you will need to pull it off.

Check out the info here. He is a Mopar Man (and a bit of a character!) and his youtube channel has heaps of info too. He'll set ya straight. The most important tip I gleaned is - if you plan to go disc front, consider a power booster an absolute necessity unless you have legs like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime....

An option. Not popular, but this is what I run. All the brakes I need to drive many thousand miles a year. Safely. In some of the worst traffic on the planet. 80 mph freeways with unexpected slowing to 10 mph.

Really the only thing not being reproduced right now are the front disc brake spindles. Find someone selling a pair of those and you can buy new rotors, calipers, brake hoses, proportioning valve, distribution block, steel lines, etc.... I found a set of spindles with rotors, calipers, rubber hoses and dust shields at a swap meet. Bought a new dist/prop on ebay and new hard lines from inlinetube.com . Easy, factory correct, fit great and WAAAAY cheaper than Baer or Willwood kits.
