'71 Variable speed wiper switch help needed.

I piecing together my wiper system on my '71/'71 Plymouth SSP. I have a 1971 Variable speed switch, MP# 3488043, which has 7 terminals on it, however, the dash harness that was on it, only has, (confirmed by the FSM diagram) 6 wires that connect to it. What goes on the 7th terminal???? :angry1:

I'm guessing it doesn't get used (doesn't show signs of 'wear' on the terminal in question)?
