Purchased my '72 RR in '79 for $1200, threw a rod on the 340 doing 95 MPH on my 17 birthday, put the top-end on a 360, eventually pieced together a 400 with a 440 Super Commando top end, parked the car back in '87 and drove it 15 miles to a friends barn in '98, where it has sat ever since. Finally sold the tranny last year and found the intake in the attic.
Back in the day, it seemed that there was always something that needed repair, be it an electrical issues, u-joints, tranny leaks, starters, carb issues, brake pads/rotors, etc. I have owned a '96 Indy Ram with a 360 since '99 and with 160,000 and have only recently replaced the water pump!
Located an hour north of Denver.
