OK Here is my 72 Charger Rallye for sale
It is a real 1 of 165 Charger Rallye Hardtop U code 440 factory 4 speed Dana. I saw this car for the first time in Denver in 1982 complete running b5 blue blue interior Dana in place with rear sway bar.
4 years later,86, my brother buys the car in its current condition and puts it in inside storage.
Fast forward in '02 my brother left it to me and now, after 25 years, its time.
The Good:
Very clean and straight body not wrecked, entire trunk is clean and solid, clean and solid frame rails, entire floor is clean and solid but for two pencil size holes at the gas pedal. disc brakes front sway bar, has correct 72 pistol grip shifter handle with trim and 72 shifter mounting plate for transmission. Correct nice 150 mph speedometer, 72 933 side drain big block oil pan, hood hinges, windshield trim, wiper arms, rear seat, excellent black wood grain door panels, extra wiring, inside rear window trim, sills. and more.
The Bad:
Minor rust in the common areas around the rear wheels and lower rear quarters, no emblems, no windshield, no front seats, no brakes whatsoever (no hardware on the rear but the front discs are there just not operational), narrow crappy roller axle, no key and wheel is locked (have to slide steering column back and turn wheels by hand). no motor no trans. no dash pad, rear glass is just taped in
No title as CO requires the car to be complete and running to file for a new one. No fender tag, no build sheet. Believe me this car is well worth the effort to save it is not a parts car, you can see it is not for the faint of heart but you would have one cool ride when completed.

I have 48 pictures to email to those who are truly interested including closeups of engine bay all 4 corners, frame, floor, and trunk
the rules say to pm me for email and phone info and I will gladly talk to you about it

asking $4800 obo no trades bill of sale only pms will be answered in order.
I am in no hurry to sell the car so we can always work out a deal.

I have an incorrect 1969 23 spline 833 4 speed core, a 1968 Bell Housing and Flywheel for an extra $700
Add another $300 for a 74 440 HP block and a set of 906 heads.
These are parts I had collected for the car but not being original to it or even correct I offer them separate but shippable with the car.
prices negotiable.

It,s worth putting back together thats for sure!!
Petty Blue 67 GTX

Why did somebody strip all the hipo parts off it?

it was stripped by a prior owner sometome between 1982 and 1986
I knew the car was special the first time I laid eyes on it. It was very cool.

Why someone would do it is beyond me.

1972 charger rallye

It's got all the right stuff, but with no fender tag, how would you ever prove it was an original 4-speed dana car?

the 4 speed part is easy look at the floor, it is a factory hump without a doubt
No way to prove the Dana except maybe the location of the rear sway bar mounts on the frame. I dont know if they were different for 8 3/4 or not.
anyway i have no proof
now on ebay for less 250707119257

As far as the dana goes, all 440 4 speed cars had a dana. None were 8.75's

No prob. Would love to have it btw, but am stuck till the Duster moves.
