It is all numbers matching. Untouched.
My question is before I start to redo the car, is it a valuable car? I mean is it critical to keep it all original like finishes of suspension parts, interior style, brake booster type, etc..
Also is the transmission a 727 or 904?

Trans is a 727 they never (to my knowledge) they never put a 904 behind a big block

it's a bench seat , chicken leg , big block 72 charger SE. not many options. I had one like it only in gold, I built the crap out of it and had fun. it will never bring Rallye charger money , but would make a nice cruiser. I wouldn't get too tied up in super detailing it , but I know how it can go once you get addicted to detail. it really just depends on what YOU want and what kind of time and money you want to throw at it.

Modified 72 s.e. I've seen $20k
Sadly there not worth a ton and no mater what you do you probably will be upside down in the car.

In 72, E63 is a 400 2bbl, and E64 is the 4bbl.

I was gonna correct the decode-

VIN "M" is a 2 bbl.

"P" would be the 4 bbl.

Looks like a really clean, straight car.

Rim blow steering wheel....is it tilt?

It is a 2 bbl and it does have tilt steering. So far I haven't found much rust or any repair on the body.

Tilt wheel is a pretty rare option.

You got a factory big block Charger with A/C, hidden headlights and tilt with a clean body.

...and it's not green!

Welcome to the site, I also have a 72SE, spent way more money on the car than it deserves, but for me I have owned it 30+ years and has a lot of sentimentality attached to it. Plus I am not planning on selling it so I am doing it the way I want it. I know it's not a Rallye or a 71 R/T but it is the car I want.
