72 Roadrunner with 340 oil pressure issues

He's giving us oil pressure numbers, does the stock gauge do that? I have used an oil pump gasket on a small block, or not, no change in oil pressure, for me.

And if you were to pull the pan to replace the pump, pull a rod cap or two and a main cap to examine the bearings. If there's any copper showing they should be replaced. At that point, you could also use Plasti-gauge to measure the clearance. That's a whole other can of worms. Oh, and you will need a torque wrench to reinstall the caps. This all depends on your mechanical ability.

It’s a Dakota digital dash, so looks stock but does have a digital output to show metrics.
