'72 Satellite

Hello everyone, new member here.
My first of what i'm sure will be many questions is concerning wheel & tire size. The car came with 14" rims but i'm looking for maybe something just a little bigger, i was thinking something like a 235/70/15? My question is, what are my options for this particular car? I'm not sure i'd want to go bigger than a 15" rim (but maybe), and as far as width & aspect ratio what are the parameters of what i can use?

Always liked the look of 15 x 7 steel wheels with Dog Dish wheel covers. Stock, and still pretty affordable. You can probably go a little wider in the rear if you want. Plymouth motor division dog dishes are getting pricey, but IMO, they look great especially on 72 Satellite's !!

15X7 or 15X8 as there is plenty of room on that Satellite. The 235/70's is an excellent choice for the front and you can actually go a couple of sizes bigger on the rear for a great stance. IMO

Yeah definitely going with the steelies/dog dish look, former government car so that's the correct look anyway. I guess the question is, with a 235 tire on a 7" wide wheel would i have enough space, or would a 15x6 be better just to be safe?
