727 with parking brake

Is it possible to put a different tailshaft housing on. What other thing do i have to do. The trans was pull out of a truck.

Yes you can swap out tailhousing you have to change mainshaft as well. I have both if you need them message me if interested
 
I know this is old but is that drum bolted on or how are they attached to the main shaft. I know where a few are but never messed with them due to the drum
 
The parking brake can be removed, and run without. Most have stayed away from these because they do not use a slip yoke. It's a bolt on yoke, so you must use a 2 piece driveshaft. They are great for internals....4 pinion planetaries and such. Or swap out the tailshaft housing and output shaft.
 
I wasn't sure how it attatched to the main shaft . For derby cars we run a slip shaft style yoke but it bolts into the main shaft so I'm assuming this still won't work if a standard slip shaft doesn't work with one . Thanks for the reply. I'm still grabbing them at 50 bucks a piece just for internals for a couple regular 727s I have that are weak
