Hey guys, I've dialed in my kickdown but it does not downshift under WOT?

What should i look at ?

Thanks

Explain "Dialed in" I would try lengthening the linkage maybe 1/4-3/8"... If it helps then you have a direction to go... If it doesn't I'd be looking at the valve body...

have a bouchillon kickdown assembly
1-2 gear shifts happen at 15 mph at light throttle , 2-3 around 25-30
1-2 gear shifts under wot at 4k rpm , 2-3 around 5k rpm

Lota folks use cable kickdowns, they work... Not as well as the original linkage but they are available & since there probably aren't a lot of donor cars in Qatar I guess that's what you have to work with....

Do you know what years trans you actually have? Assuming it's a 70 it won't have a part throttle kickdown unless it's a 6 cylinder which it's not... You should be able to be rolling at 40-60 MPH and go WOT, the trans should kickdown to second gear... But after it's shifted from first to second or third it won't shift back into first until the vehicle stops.... If you want it t do that you need to add a part throttle kickdown from a trans that has it...

Those started in 70 on 6 cylinder cars & were used with most engines starting in 71... You can add it to an earlier trans by just adding to small

If it upshifts too soon at light throttle, the throttle pressure valve stop (The long phillips head screw with lock nut) might need to be adjusted.
For down shifts, make sure your valve body has the part throttle kick-down in the post above.

Not as a bolt-on. The PB valve body does not have the port that supplies pressure to this part throttle add-on. I have seen an article where this has been accomplished on a PB valve body, but it looks like a lot of work.
