73 Charger SE 400-4 speed with A/C does anyone know...?

The production numbers for the 1973 Charger SE cars? I just got this car, it is a factory 400 4 Barrel, 4 speed with air. It is a 66K mile car I got from the original owner. It does need a restoration. I would prefer to sell it whole, but it might be worth more in parts. I don't really want to part it if it's a low production car!! :confused:
I'm going to check it out real good underneath, so far it looks solid. It has a few options - tach dash, dual exhaust, 4 speed console, 8 3/4 rear, etc. The bad part is that the original block is gone, but the rest of the engine parts are still with the car!

Any info would be GREAT! :grin:

Looks like 271 with a 4 speed. I'd say rare enough.

Not to mention that the 400 was the only big block you could get with a 4 speed.
They don't pop up very often.

I would say it is way too good numbers wise to part out. I have a 73 SE 400 4bbl that is auto. You don't see too many 400 4bbl cars. Let alone a 4 speed.

Too bad your on the east coast or I would be a player for the whole car. I have to part the 73 400 4bbl I have. It don't have a title and too hard out here to get one. I bought it out of a salvage yard years back. Just hope you don't part it. It just wouldn't be right.

Thanks. I'll poke around a bit more to see if that number stands up. At that number it is still worth saving as I'll guess that 90% are gone by now.

Yep, totally worth saving, 400 is a great motor and with that tranny, sounds like an awesome project car, unless its totally rusted to nothing!

Actually, near zero rust on this car. Some sheet metal damage but I even have a spare ¼ panel and hood that came with it along with a small collection of misc parts.
Since I know that it will be quite awhile until I get to the "cleaning and fixin" part, I'll offer it for sale if anyone is interested........
