Here is my glorious 73 charger se U code. No you cant have it, its mine.
Im going to be "restoring" it by making it a 4 speed stroker. I dont have the numbers matching engine but i have a 440 hp from the same year out of another charger.
I have the build sheet and i have 0 idea how to read it and i need help with how to. But it has ac power windows and things of that nature but it would be interesting to see how it came from the factory.
I will need an 18 spline and new louvers as the piece that extends back is broken on both sides as shown in the pics.
I do have a roof cutoff thats in decent shape so i have patch panels. I also have a rallye dash but im missing some important pieces like lsd but that isnt the end of the world.
Got it for a decent price and im no stranger to absolute piles so its perfect in every way. I do have an extra set of frame rails for it that might need to go to a new home as mine has holes but i do own a welder so they are taking up space.
I typically mess with d and w series trucks as i have 3 of them so nothing mechanical is really new here.

NICE! Glad you decided to save this. Post pics as you endeavor on this project. Looking forward to the progress. Also, if you have a fender and vin tags still, you can decode as to how the car came from the factory. :drinks:

Looks like a great car. I actually like the SE the most out of this generation. I would save those frame rails and buy a welder when you get a chance. The Hobart brand isn’t bad and isn’t expensive. You might find yourself doing a lot with it.

I won't need the frame rails as I have a flux core mig and a engine driven welder so fabrication especially stuff out of the public eye is right up my alley.

I have the tags and the build sheet but like I said I have no idea how to read the build sheet. Vin and fender tag is easy enough to decode but the build sheet decode is what I'm after.
I've been working a lot of ot but my goal is a 512 stroker lightened crank trickflow heads possibly aluminum caps or steel ones. ~650hp at the crank is what I'm aiming for.
