Wiring gives me a headache. My 73 throwing a fit.Ok dash wiring is kicking my ***. Got headlights, for hazzards, but I think cam in column is bad because one Hazzard flashes till u wiggle hazzard switch then both kick on. It buzzes with the flashes, but still no turn signal,, no running lights, when you step on brake petal hard buzzer goes off(this is with both doors open), but no buzzer when lights left on or doors open. I tried new headlight switch, put in new flasher relay and still having issues. I really don't want to have to pull the dash out again. I wish I could just afford to put in a new dash harness. I not sure if all is even plugged in correctly I mean I got a red triangular plug with 3 female round holes on driver side with nothing plugged into it. Got a yellow one on passenger behind glove box that has 2 wires plugged into it, but not sure if in correct holes. Then one more under dash. Not sure what to do next except change steering column signal switch and direction cam.

Hey Texas Charger 73 get yourself a copy of the wiring diagram and follow your nose. I know that the glove box light plugs into the orange connector. I know you don't want to pull your dash, but the best way to get every thing right is to mount your dash on a frame. Then you can wire and test everything with a multi-meter and 12v DC power source. Good luck.

Hey bud sorry I didn't see this sooner . I have my factory uncut UN molested dash and harness out of my car right now and can help you (or at least try) what year are you playing with agen 73?
I have a 72 setup and a 74 setup I'd guess and say 74 is the closer of the two . I'll get it out and lay it out for you and take some pictures .
P.m. me your email address

there is also a ground wire from the column to the dash. I would start with a new signal cancellor, sounds like you need one any way

I chased running and turn signal light issues for a month, and was about to just run all new wires when I crawled under the rear of my Roadrunner and saw the light wires running through the holes in the rear bumper mount had chaffed away right where they contact the lower edge of the mount holes. They looked fine from the top, but you could see just a smidgen of bare copper underneath and this would short out the lights. I taped over the bad part of the wire and no more problems.

Usually when there are a lot of crazy things going on in different areas it's a ground issue. Rule #1 - When working on any cars electrical system, start by confirming that your ground points are in good shape. I'm not sure but I believe the ground for your dash is the dash frame itself. What WP29440SE said, look for a steering column ground strap also.
Your hazard switch does not have direct connections for each light. That's done in the turn switch signal mechanism.
Here are the diagrams. Don't be intimidated by wiring diagrams. They are just a map. Most of the stuff you need is on diagram "B".
