73 rear seat in a 68

Hello I have a 68 satellite sport with no interior and access to a rear seat from a 73. What I was wondering is will the 73 back and bottom fit without too much trouble.?

It would surprise me if they did. I would hop on a website that sells seat cores and see whats listed. Perhaps classic industries or year one.

If you want take some measurements of your pan and take a photo ill measure my charger and do the same

I have a classic industries book and it was no help and there was nothing on the Web that's why I came here.

Bottom seat latch 43" inside to inside

About 47" between wheel well going across the Trans tunnel

66-70 rear seats interchange.

1970 is one year only floor pan, only affects fronts, though.

71-74 totally different.

Narrower and back is much taller.

YY1 is correct. My measurement were much different.

Yes they will fit, but only if you are going to mini-tub your car...that is the seat that people use. However, you will need to move the bottom seat lock tabs in toward the center, so they will lock the bottom seat in. The back will drop right in. You will need 68-70 seat if you are NOT going to mini-tub your car.
