You keep working on it like that..and before you know it, you will be buffing out the rest of that paint and wanting to keep it.....ask me how I know...lol

I know what you are saying. I'm actually starting to get excited about starting it. But if someone throws $5,500 cash at me right now, it's gone.

I've got $14,000 cash locked up in the glovebox of my car out in the parking lot right now and if you were in Rochester, I would be tempted to throw ya $5500 for that car. But its going towards my roadrunner and the Sattelite

lol, I am parked in a very large parking lot in New York. Does that narrow it down for you?

Roadrunner

Update, 6-28-2009. It's alive! Oil down the cylinders for a few months. Took care of the large wiring issues. It fired up and blew white smoke for about 5 minutes. Cleaned out and seems to run really good.

I noted Harland sharp roller rockers, high volume fuel pump, chrome box, and an upgraded coil. I'm stoked!!!!

Here are some updated pics

I gutted the interior for new carpet and room to work under the dash. I also bought a stripe kit and new birds for it. I would still trade it if the right car came along as I have little time to work on it. So far no offers, I will continue slowly working on it. It is garaged, and starting to look really nice. Troy

If you didn't notice, I also rubbed the paint out. I will be ordering a new carpet kit soon. I pulled the old carpet and the floorpan is in good shape. Troy

Still available. I started striping it and it's now running well. The interior is out of the car and I have a new carpet kit. Troy

Hey i'm way out in tn, anyway to ship/deliver? You have anyone you trust to hual?

oh come on.....it's only about 2/3s way across the country. Fly out and drive it home.

Roadrunner

It would be tough to drive it home with no interior in it:)

I friend of mine shipped a 59 Apache truck to Wisconsin from here last week. It was $1,300 for the job. The truck wasn't running. I don't have any idea what it would cost to tn, but I would be willing to ship if you provide the transport. Troy

WELL my unlce is a trucker I'm gonna see if his group has any haulers going out that way that could grab it on a return trip. if i can work something out i will let you know, and i would take time off and fly and drive her home but i have had so much time off work already from my accident that i couldn't take more if i wanted.

Roadrunner

It will be probably be here for a while. All the trade offers I have had weren't worth a darn.

Make sure you read my thread well.

The Roadrunner is not a driver at this point. It needs the interior put back in, It needs header gaskets, and it has a leaky power steering box. It is not far from being a driver, but not a driver, at this point in time. I don't want you having any surprises if you pull the trigger.

I have a 71 charger thats my driver, this would actually be a gift for my mom and dad dads got a 1950 dodge but isnt fond of it anymore and hes thinking of selling so i figure he'll either play with this one or trade it for a 73 charger.
